Mobility is no longer defined by vehicles alone. It is becoming a software-defined, experience-driven system — shaped by interfaces, intelligence, services, behavior, and culture.
Yet most conversations about mobility still happen inside narrow industry boundaries.
Editions exist to open those boundaries.
The focus is not consensus. The focus is new vantage points — and the connections that follow.
Some of our work happens in private.
Some of it happens in public.
Editions are the public expression of how NXT NXT thinks — curated gatherings where worlds that don't normally meet, collide.
Not conferences. Not panels. Not networking.
Designed encounters between disciplines that rarely share a room early enough — before ideas become products, standards, or assumptions.
WHAT AN EDITION IS
A curated gathering of 50–80 leaders, builders, designers, technologists, and decision-makers — brought together around a specific question, in a specific place, at a specific moment.
Each Edition follows three phases:
Arrival / Friction — The room is different. Conversations don't begin by accident.
Provocation — 3–4 short impulses from unexpected disciplines. Maximum 10 minutes. Not a talk — a shift in perspective.
Collision — Directed conversations emerge in the room, not on a stage.
The format has architecture. It has no fixed agenda.
What emerges cannot be booked, planned, or internally organized. That is the value.
THE SERIES
Editions are built as a continuing series. Each edition adapts to its context. The intent remains the same.
Edition 00 — Los Angeles, California — February 2024
The first edition. 200+ participants from mobility, technology, design, policy, and research. International setting, highly curated format, interdisciplinary focus on systemic questions.
